TGWP Episode 083: Scott Grove – ImagineGrove.com – EasyInlay.com
Just a few weeks ago at IWF in Atlanta, Georgia, I was fortunate enough to meet the awesome Scott Grove.
For those of you that don’t know Scott. Not only is he an incredible artist, he’s an incredible person. His art is inspiring and and will leave most speechless. I look forward to the day I can see some of his art in person let alone take a class or listen to a lecture from Scott.
One of the things that impress me most about Scott is his ability to work outside the norm. I know most will think that’s what all artist do, but I disagree. Scott seems to as he describes it, “find the line, then cross it, then cross it again.” To me, that’s what sets his work apart from others. Scott’s skill at wood veneer work is probably second to none to be honest. He’s done things with veneers that most could only dream of. Of course, if you were to ask him he’d say that anyone can do it with practice.
Not only does Scott make incredible pieces of art, he invents some really useful tools like his Ultimate Router Base making inlays and router work a breeze. Check it out at ImagineInlay.com
Speaking of inlay! Scott has a company called EasyInlay.com were you can find some of the best Mother of Pearl and other stones and mineral on the market. These products are the perfect addition to any art piece.
I want to say again how inspired I am from seeing Scott’s work and I definitely invite you to check out all he’s done over the years. You will not be disappointed that I promise.
